How Can I Always Feel Great?

Big question, but it involves staying fully present.

Compare how you are on vacation, with how you are in everyday working life, the mundane.

On vacation, you are aware, you are taking it all in, you are excited, and exploratory. If you lay on the beach, you are relaxing, hopefully able to think about nothing at all but the water, breakers, and when the waiter is coming around to bring you your next cocktail. You feel free, but more than likely, you are spending quite a substantial amount of time in the present.

You can carry this same feeling home with you to your everyday life. Whatever you do, rather at work or at home, stay in the moment.

  1. Use techniques like focusing on objects in the room and observing if your thought processes begin to float and waver, and you start to think about everything else accept what you are actually doing.

  2. If your partner or family members are discussing the responsibilities or plans for the day, look in their eyes, watch their lip movements, watch their body language, follow their words as if they are actually physical in form.

These are some basic techniques used to stay present, and it does take practice, but as you begin to develop the skills and ideologies associated with staying in the moment, you will see that you experience a feeling of being present, and also a feeling of awareness and liberation.

Life Hack (Law of Attraction) - Now, once you have some of the techniques used to stay in the present in place, in your spare time, you can think about and plan for your next vacation. Use visuals. Take the time to focus on you, and your preparation for your next vacation — spend time exercising, researching the location you plan to travel to, the culture, the people. This will also stimulate anticipation and excitement and will lead to other positive emotional, physical and psychology experiences.

Always?

Also, watch out for the idea of always. Nothing is always the same. Things change, and are in a state of dynamic movement or evolution. If you achieve the feeling of liberation and happiness associated with your holidays at least once a day, this is already a great accomplishment.

If you achieve this feeling always on a perpetual hour by hour basis, then you must have achieved a level of enlightenment associated with the Buddha. If you get there, then send some information back to me about how I can follow you to where ever you have landed.

Peace and love, Inga
